Cornbelly's Part 1 & 2

PART ONE : I had the opportunity to go with Reagan
on her first grade fieldtrip to cornbelly's. I think I forgot
how crappy it is to ride on a bus. There are lots of smells
its bumpy and very noisy. But I was excited to be with Reagan.

She wanted to take a picture with my camera so she took a picture of her friend Gracie

These were the 3 kids I was incharge of. Of course the day
of the fieldtrip was the most windy and cold day we have had
so far this fall. I left my coat back in my car thinking it would
be one more thing to carry becuase I was in charge of all the
kids lunches and there wasn't much room left in my back pack.
I froze my butt off the whole day. ( I kept telling myself I was
burning more calories that way--you know because my body was
working so hard to stay warm --That could be true right??)

Reagan picked her pumpkin and then we headed off to the
busses. SO we are sitting on the bus waiting to go and there
was one Dad that came as a helper he and his son sat directly
behind us. He was a little scary looking he had a long scraggly
goatee and way long pinky nails (I know what you are all
thinking-coke head ) well while the teachers were counting
to make sure all the kids were on the bus he hurry and scrambles
off the bus. He is standing outside the doors and decides to have
a quick smoke break. Well it was time to go and he is still standing
out there smoking so after we wait 5-10 min. I quickly reach down
and whisper in Reagan's ear that man is going to get on the bus and
he is going to stink like cigarettes please do not say anything. As
he gets on the bus and walks back to his seat you see the reaction
of all the kids faces and they are all wrinkling their nose up at the
smell. Well 10 sec. after he sits down behind us and Reagan gets a
whiff ( Keep in mind the smell his awful he must smoke a
really smelly brand ) She sticks her thumb up like hitch hiker
and points it right at him and loudly says "is that the man that was
out their smoking? " I didn't even turn around to see his reaction.

PART 2

We decided to go to cornbelly's for family night. Brylee brought
her friend Sheridan. Anthony didn't want his picture taken so
he showed me.

They dressed up the scarecrows in the princess square.

Anthony rode the donkey.

Reagan loved these bikes.

Then it was time for the haunted monster. Brylee chicken'd
out 1/2 way through and went out the exit.

But then when she realized her younger brother and sister
made it through she gave it another try.

They all had a blast sliding.

We love these slides. They are even fun for adults. I took this
picture because I told Jim we should build one of these in the
back yard who cares that it looks completely ghetto ---It is
way stinkin fun and can you imagine putting a hose in it in the
summer time. You would have the best waterslide in town.

Anthony would shoot out this slide so fast and land on his
butt everytime and he loved every minute of it.

Of course the cow ride is always a hit.

Reagan and the Pumpkin Pricncess

The highlight of the night was the balloon tying dude.

Yeah for a fun night and it was even warmer the part 1.

Cornbelly's is fun! The fieldtrip story is hilarious. (I hope that guy doesn't secretly read your blog!) I can't believe Reagan still said something after you had warned her. What a cute little mom you are!

We went to Cornbelly's to, but we missed out on the "balloon tying dude."

They always do the opposite of what we tell them to do, don't they?

Where is Cornbelly's? It looks like so much fun!

What a funny story! Kids do things like that all the time and then you have something to laugh about for years to come:)
