We started our fast on Saturday at 4:00 so that we could break it just in time for some Superbowl festivites on Sunday. (Steaks & Shrimp yum!) I was making some mini cheescakes for the party while Brylee watched like a hawk thinking she was going to dye. You see this was Brylee's 1st fast since she had turned 8 & was baptised last month. We were so proud of her she made it the full 24 hours without food or water. But all day she said she wasn't sure if she could make it I found her standing in the pantry many times wanting to but she remained strong. Way to go Brylee!!

You are so dedicated! It seems like 900 years since I was able to fast...it makes it torture on my family because I can't fast due to my meds issues. I don't know how I will teach them to make it through...when their mom can't do it! I have tried to explain it to them...but it is absolutely torturous for them to watch me eat.
