Moving In....

It was finally time to move into our new house. When you are building a home it seems as if it is never going to happen and you can't even imagine what it will be like. There were many nights I would lay in bed and dream of how I would decorate each room. There is nothing dreamy about moving in. It is tiring, crazy, you can't find anything you need. Your kids undo anything you manage to get done and there is so much STUFF! While you are moving you have to keep up with regular day things. Like driving kids to practice. Poor Makoy got hauled around in nothing but her diaper.
I think she was A OK about it!
We had stored a lot of our stuff in a semi trailer. The kids thought it was exciting to see all of their old stuff. Before we moved out of our Lake Shore house we had worked so hard to organize all of the toys in their proper boxes bins and so on. So that it would be easier to move in. I about died when I walked in the toy room to see every single bin and boxed dumped all out on the floor and scattered everywhere. You see the kids thought it was like Christmas and went from one to the other. I about cried and then counted my many blessing and reorganized it all.
We had a ramp that lead up to the front door. It was so sad at how dirty my new floor got.
We had many bonfires to get rid of more junk.
Then one day the kids were being so quiet and out of the way. I thought man I am getting so much done. Then I discovered them. Our fields had just been irrigated.
They thought it was great fun. I wasn't so sure I wanted them in my brand new house.

You can tell Brylee got the other two much worse. They should have ganged up on her.
Makoy wasn't so into the mud fight.
I made them all squirt each other off with the hose which wasn't as fun as the actual mud fight.  They claimed they had such a boring summer with moving and all. Well these pictures prove otherwise.
