Reagan begged and begged to make gingerbread houses last year and again this year. So Michelle and I decided to plan a night for the kids to make them.
Everybody in action.

Reagan took this very seriously she was still at the table well after all the other kids had left to play.

we made them as simple as possible! (The kids don't care right?)

And Reagan here--she fit as much candy as she could on the plate. She loved this project and asked if we could do it again next year.

This year for our neighbor gift I decided to go the food storage route. Every year it seems as if you have a table full of junk to eat. So I have found it kind of fun to come up with something useable. This year we did the bouillon cubes from Costco ( I love them because they crush up so easily if you pinch them with your fingers). Last year I did a package of light bulbs and said we hope your Christmas is Merry and BRIGHT. Everybody uses light bubls right!!
Can't wait to see what we think of next.

I love Regan's house on a plate full of candy! That's too funny. I think I might barrow your "seasons" greetings next year! What a useful gift. Very practical. I love practical.
That is a great idea! I may have to steal that one sometime! Way to do something other than sweets!
You are so practical! I gave out emergency lights and they even came in red! It was fun to see you at Michelle's.
