Christmas 2008

Christmas was great this year! All day long on Christmas Eve they kept asking if it was time yet for them to open one of their presents. I believe that the anticipation of waiting and wondering is really the fun of it. So it was a long day for them. We met my family at Olive Garden for a delicious meal that I did not have to clean up or cook yeah for me!! Then home to open one gift.
(You think they would know it is jammies every year and not be so excited but they always are)

Cute jammies!! We however got the kids off to bed and started our marathon of Lord of the Rings. We did not get to bed til about 2:00 a.m . Then it started Brylee was up at 3:00 . I said no way your little brother will be so grumpy if we wake him up now-- go back to bed! Then at 5:00 they tried to wake us up while they were sitting at the top of the stairs by making lots of noise. Jim yelled up go back to bed were not ready yet. They never went back to bed but just sat there and waited so finally at 7:30 we let them get up.

It is always so exciting to see their faces when they see all the presents Santa brought.

They all started to rip into their presents with much excitment.

Brylee got the motor scooter she wanted, a pet shop house, and some clothes.

Reagan has long a waited a Hannah Montanna Wig
Hannah is that you?

Reagan very pleased with all her gifts.

Anthony was ready to get all his gifts opened and played with. But all of us parents know and dread all of the million little wire twist ties that hold each item securely in its package-RAR!
Who's idea was that?

Then on to the stockings. They all seeemed happy and I always sit there and think I can't believe another year has come and gone.

Anthony particularly loved his king sized hershey bar and that he had free range of eating what ever he wanted on Christmas Day.

Mom not so happy about the chocolate everywhere!

Looks like your boy loves chocolate like mine. Cals giant Herseys was devoured in minutes of opening his stocking. Quickly followed by the entire pack of gum in one day. Oh to be young again!
