On Memorial Day I love to see all the flags lined up on
everyone's lawn or driveway.
It was a cold & windy when we stopped off to see my brother
Chad's headstone. The kids were good sports its hard to
believe it has been 13 years since he passed away my kids
never had the opportunity to meet him. Jim and I had been
married less than 1 year when we got the awful phone call at
2:00 in the morning. We often wonder what life would be like if
he were still here.
I love this quote on the back of his headstone.
"From one great adventure to another
I constantly move forward"
Anthony thought it was very entertaining to hide behind
the headstone and play peek-a-boo .

Steph- memorial day is always a hard one. We just took flowers to my husbands Grandma. She died January of this year. I know our loved ones look down on us and smile when we visit their gravestone. :)

I remember your mom telling me about Chad and his accident (when I lived in Springville) - as a mom, I don't know how you recover from that! I love the quote on the headstone too!
