The Gingerbread Man!

Grandma Hone has read the Gingerbread man numerous times to Makoy and so when I was making some ginger bread men ornaments for the ward party I was in charge of. Makoy was so excited and kept pretending to make them run. I love simple things like this that bring a magic sparkle to a child's eyes.

Christmas Card 2012

My most favorite thing during the Christmas holiday  is receiving everyone's cards. Here is our card we sent out.

This was the first year that everyone cooperated and actually had fun! Kacy did everyone's makeup and snapped the photo for us.

Even Jim did not complain once and that people is simply a miracle. He hates family pictures!!

My little Rockstar!

Even though you couldn't see Jim's shoes in the card I had to document these babies!!!
Probably one of my favorite cards so far.

Get Your Wrestle On!

Most of our nights end up with the 2 younger kids wanting to box or wrestle.

Anthony showing his muscles for the camera and his opponents!

To Anthony being silly!

Then the fight begins

After Anthony tags out Makoy has her turn.

Then they all join in .

Oh wait did Reagan manage to win?

NOPE! Take that Reagan!

Then you have the ending result Anthony crying. Sometimes it is Jim who makes him cry but most likely one of his teammates kicked him in the head. All I know is they love it and they always come back for more.

Thanksgiving 2012

AS I am way behind on my posts I apologize.  Here are the few pictures I took for Thanksgiving.
We ended up hosting it at our house this year and to my surprise Jim invited his parents up to celebrate with us and they accepted.

Pie is always a must. Thanks to Grandma for her skills in this department.

Grandma slept over and helped make some of the food. She gave the kids a lesson on yummy homemade rolls.

It was a really nice dinner so nice I forgot to get any other pictures. Kacy entertained us with her one armed cheer-leading act I thought Big Jim was going to bust his gut which in return made all of us laugh even more. If you have never seen her perform this you are truly missing out. She is one funny girl!!

Then we ate delicious pie Makoy loved the whipping cream.

Us telling her she can't eat all of the whipping cream.

Thanksgiving is such a great Holiday to reflect on what we all are so blessed with.  The fact you get to share it with everyone you love and hold dear to your heart is the whipping cream on the pie!!

I received a note from Anthony's Teacher that informed me he would be receiving an award at their school assembly and that I was invited to attend. (Sure wish I would have gotten his hair cut now).Anyway we were really proud of him he received the COUGAR SCHOLAR award .

His reading level is the highest in the class and he has a great memory.

Anthony loves school and is really good at it. He has gotten 100% on all his spelling tests so far.

This is a Friday night at our house they all squished in Anthony's bed to watch a movie and the result we found is this.

Then after the flash went off Anthony rolled over to give Brylee some more room.

Nothing like finding a  random shot on my camera of Brylee. She is gonna love me for posting this. These pictures are what it is about people personality baby! She keeps us laughing all the time.

Rampage Softball in St. George 2012

In November we get to play in our last softball tournament of the year down in St. George. It is one of the biggest tournaments we go to. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of actual softball playing, just the pool party in between games. Makoy had a blast.

Brylee and Madi with some awesome/typical duck lips! (Something we will be able to tease them about as being an era thing someday)

We had fun taking lots of random jumping in the pool shots.

Makoy and Maylee being a sister to a softball player means fun stuff for everyone!!

In November of 2012 Reagan was asked to guest play on the Hive, a team based out of the Clinton area down in a tournament in St.George. They are a pretty competitive team and they were looking for a short stop!
Whenever you are asked to be the pick up player it seems as if everyone's nerves are on high alert.
As parents you want your kid to do well and impress the coaches. As a player you feel the pressure from parents, coaches, and other team players.  Reagan had never played short stop before. She had always played 3rd base. Jim gave her the run down of where and what she was supposed to do. I have to admit Reagan was born with ball sense. She did a great job!

Covering 2nd on the throw down. I loved that the pants she got to wear were women's mediums they were Gi-normous on her.

She had a lot of fun-- loved the girls and most of all loved the coaches. They are a great group of men and they have the funniest personality with these girls. Way to go HIVE!!

This little sweet thing LOVES to get in our bed! Some days it drives us crazy (when she gets her feet in our back or kicks her father in his private area) For a while we are strict and make her stay in her own bed and then we come to the conclusion that she is our last one and soon there won't be anyone that wants to snuggle us anymore and so you see she gets her way eventually.

Reagan was so excited to get her NERD glasses. She bought them with her own money. I have to smile when I think of her spunky spirit Love this girl!!

I love that she is young at heart and hope she always stays that way!

Happy Birthday Jim!!

Jim and I went out on a Romantic dinner for his Birthday and the kids prepared a surprise party for him.
They turned off all the lights and decorated the house.

They said it took forever to blow up all the balloons.

This is Jim mimicking Makoy when we walked in.

She was so excited to scream Happy Birthday and then she would do her 2 clap thing. Priceless!

Jim's birthday is not complete without his favorite cake and rocky road ice cream.

Reagan took it upon her self to wrap his gift with a lot of layers.

They each gave him a coupon. Reagan's makes me laugh the way she spells everything and how she thought of everything that a coupon has. Expiration date only using one at  a time.  Funny Girl!

Brylee was so thoughtful and gave him a free home-run coupon. Which he did hold in his back pocket and cash in it at a tournament--it was awesome cause she really did hit a home-run! Happy Birthday Jim we wish you the best ever!!
