Disneyland

We have had some good luck with Expedia when booking rooms for our trips to California. This place had a great breakfast and the girls were all smiles. Off to Disneyland we go.

I love the Bugs life show. One of my favorites at California Adventures. I was glad that grandma finally got to see it. I think she was surprised by it as well.
My cute little bugs!
The carousel is one ride the younger kids get to ride over and over while we take turns hitting the California Screamer. I am pretty sure that is Jim's favorite ride there.
The toy story ride is another that is lots of fun and always seems to have a long line. Mostly because it is one of the newer rides. Standing in line is where some of the funniest memories are made. Entertaining yourself and also seeing all of the different types of people around you makes for some good laughs.

We were excited that Ashley, Scarlet and Elliott made it over to see us. That Elliott's cheeks are so yummy!
Makoy and Scarlet just love each other. Makoy wanted to keep giving her drinks out of her cute drink.

Loving the Phineas and Ferb show.

Here we were hanging out in the shade waiting for Jim and the other kids that were hitting some rides.

Here are the kids posing for Grandma. I don't know why but this is the part of Disneyland I dislike. We  got tricked into waiting for the Roger Rabbit ride thinking it wasn't a long wait and oh was it. This place is not as neat to me as the others I guess.
After 2 days of trying to get fast passes for this ride we decided on the last day we would wait in the line no matter what  just so we could go on this ride.Unfortunately Makoy was too little so Jim said he would stay with her.  We waited and waited and then waited some more. It was hot and I mean HOT. Finally we got to the ride and the 2 minutes we were on it ---it was fun but not sure it was a 2 1/2 hour wait fun.
I felt bad for Jim having to wait and entertain Makoy for that long. What a good guy! Feeling like we had accomplished everything there-- we said goodbye. All agreeing that Universal Studios was our favorite place of the trip.
