Juice Time

Making grape juice is something we look forward to doing in the fall. Now that I live up north it is so much easier to get grapes and it is true the grapes up here are better which means way better juice.  Even my kids noticed it tasted better.

My sister Candice came up and made it more fun to do. She taught Makoy how to make the grapes dance  under the water to wash them off. She was such a good helper.

We pretty much got only pictures of her and none of us because she is so much cuter to look at.

This year we got all of our grapes washed in a hurry.

I decided to buy another juicer this year to make things go faster.

We had 3 of them going. 2 of them were on the camp stove on the back porch.   The camp stove  cooks so much hotter and faster, which = more juice. The weather was great so it was actually nice to be outside.
All the kids always want to help.  Sometimes that is good and sometimes it means a bigger mess.

We ended up with quite a lot of juice. My kitchen table was full.

And the bars were full.  There is nothing like enjoying delicious grape juice through out the year and at Halloween we look forward to our the witches brew made with this stuff. A big fat YUM!
