More and More Softball

Just when you thought that that is all we do is play softball. You were right, but little did we know it was about to get more crazy.  Brylee had been picked up by a team from Tremonton called the Rampage. We felt it was good for her to play with some of the girls from up there so she might get to know them before we moved into our new house. After we had committed to them Jim got a phone call from Rob Rogers (the Hot Shotz coach #1 team in the state for 12u) he asked if Brylee could come and play at the Best in the West tournament.  Jim explained that she was already playing with a team in a tournament in Clinton. Rob said well that tournament  starts on Saturday let her come play with us on Friday night and then if they get knocked out early she can come and play the rest of Saturday. Jim agreed to it. Reagan was playing with the Sliders at the Best of the West so I was hoping for them to come down and possibly get to see both of my girls play. Boy was it crazy getting them to all of the different fields that weekend. The Best in the West didn't start until late in the afternoon. I was able to make it to 2 of Brylee's games with Rampage.  Rampage did get knocked out early so off to South Jordan we went.
This is one of Makoy's new friends on Rampage her name is Maliegh. They are so cute together.
This girl is such a good girl at games. Other than she knows that everybody has snacks and treats and she goes around mooching off everyone. Good thing grandma Hone always brings fun stuff for her!
Kacy made it to the games and this is all of them wanting to sit in the same chair that grandma was so nice to provide for all of us.
I loved that we could see the Jordan River temple from the fields. This is the temple Jim and I were married in. :)
Brylee played awesome for the Hot Shotz. She felt a little insecure in the uniform it was a Youth Large. Even when Brylee played 10u she wore an adult small.
This picture is really how we all see softball ----- through the chain link fence.
The girls were all super nice and friendly and made her feel accepted right off the bat. Brylee was playing on the fields about a 3/4 of a mile from where Reagan was playing. They had lost one of their earlier games and  were playing the Evolution in the championship  They would have to win them twice to win the whole thing. After Jim saw the Evolution play he said it would be pretty hard to do. They had a really big awesome pitcher.
Reagan's team also made it to their championship. Yes we felt like proud parents, that both of our kids were playing in their final games. It was a bummer that it was at the same time. It got really cold and windy at night.
Reagan's team was playing the 10u Hot Shotz who also are very good. Reagan's team would have had to beat them twice  to win it. Part of me was ok if they lost because I  A) could of then watched Brylee or B) gotten out of the cold and gone to bed.  To our amazement they beat them it was awesome. I called Jim to see how Bry was doing he said Brylee hit the most amazing hit and scored 2 runs in and they won so now they were going into the final game.  I decided to run my butt off over for a minute to watch Brylee and then back to Reagan's. Reagan's team almost did it , but ended up losing by 1 point it was an exciting game .
So proud if them to be 2nd at the Best of the West, they gave a good fight!
The trophy was taller then Reagan. They got medals and T-shirts.
When I called Jim to see what was going on with Brylee he said "they did it they won it all and that Brylee pitched and hit awesome". He said he took some pics with his phone. I will have to put them on here later. We are such proud parents of our girls.
