The girls were so excited to be in the parade. However Jim and I had the best seats in the house---inside the air conditioned cab. It was a HOT day at 8:00 in the morning. Jim had filled one of his watering troughs full of water and we got them all some water guns. It seemed as if the water was a bigger hit than candy was. We had people running from the side yelling please squirt us-please squirt us!!
It is always amazing to me to watch Jim's MAD TRUCKER SKILLS--pulling into tight spots, turning corners with a zillion little kids running out to grab candy. It stressed me out.
Our Super fans made it to the parade.
